James Edward Keeton

James Edward Keeton, age 58, of West Liberty, KY passes away Thursday, November 21,2024 in the UK Hospital, Lexington, KY. He was born December 18,1965 in West Liberty, KY. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and he served in the Army National Guard. He worked for the West Liberty, KY police department for many years, and the Montgomery Co, KY police department, also the Johnson County Sheriff Department. He was preceded in death by his father Loyd Holt Keeton.

Surviving is his wife Raquel Keeton, his mother Betty Burke Stamper, West Liberty, KY. Daughter Destiney & Richard Hogue, Liberty, KY. Two sons Jacob Keeton, Grayson, KY, Alex & Destany Taylor, Paintsville, KY. Granddaughter Amara Love Taylor. Sister Sherri & Steve Dillon, West Liberty, KY. Three brothers Donnie & Sue Keeton, Ronnie Keeton both of West Liberty, KY, and Kenneth & Glenna Keeton, Flemingsburg, KY. Host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Best friend Raymond Smith, West Liberty, KY.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Sunday, November 24,2024, Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Tyler Keeton and Bro. Kenny Thomas officiating. Interment in the Keeton Family Cemetery, Dedman Branch Rd, Crockett, KY (with Military graveside honors conducted by the Morgan Co. DAV Chapter #132). Pallbearers are family and friends. Visitation, 6:00pm, Saturday, Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
