James Thomas Obituary

James Farris Thomas, age 79, of Masonic Homes, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, January 23th,2022 in the Baptist Health Hospital, in Louisville, Kentucky after a brief illness. He was born June 11,1942 in West Van Lear, Kentucky to Clyde and Bessie (Miles) Thomas.

Surviving are his wife Carolyn (Nickell) Thomas. Two daughters, Lenore Hughes (husband: Rick Hughes) of Louisville, Kentucky and Shellie Ott (husband: Mark Ott) of Laurens, SC. Granddaughters: Helena Hughes and Lilly Hughes (daughters of Rick & Lenore Hughes). He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Thomas and Bessie (Miles) Thomas and two brothers, Timothy Thomas and Michael Thomas.

Private graveside services in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky in care of arrangements for James Farris Thomas.
