Jason Allen Profitt, age 44, of Lexington, KY, and formerly of West Liberty, KY, went home to be with the Lord on February 8, 2026, at UK Medical Center in Lexington, KY. He was born on November 13, 1981, in Cincinnati, OH, to the late James Edwin Profitt and Phyllis Crase Profitt.
Jason was a graduate of Morgan County High School, West Liberty, KY. He worked on the farm for many years until he moved to Lexington, KY. He loved animals, especially his favorite dog, Purdy. He enjoyed being with friends and family and playing video games. Jason was a true testament to love. He loved everyone who came into his life with no boundaries. He was selfless and unwaveringly committed to the well-being of others."
His parents, James and Phyllis Crase Profitt; his grandfather, Cortis 'Buck' Profitt; and one nephew, Corbin Ray Hill, preceded him in death.
Surviving is his paternal grandmother, Dean Perkins Profitt of West Liberty, KY. Two sisters, Correnia Profitt of NC and Patricia & Roman Kirkov of Canada. Host of extended family and friends.
Visitation is Tuesday, February 17, 2026, for the general public at 11:30 a.m. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, with Bro. Phillip Ferguson and speaker Jeremiah Fleming officiating. Interment in the Profitt Cemetery, West Liberty, KY.
Pallbearers: Matthew Frisby, Jerad Profitt, Jeremiah Fleming, Riley Rowe, Rick Rice, Gunner Rice, Jason Arms, and Ryan Rowe. Honorary Pallbearers: Gerald Profitt, Josh Frisby, Yuri Brock, and Kaden Elliott.
