Jerold Ray Whitt, age 66 of Sandy Hook, KY passed away Sunday, July 10,2022 in St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington,KY after a brief illness. Born March 16,1956 in West Liberty, KY to Bernie and Shirley Whitt. He was a member of the Eagle Eye Ministries, Wrigley, KY. He worked for the Kentucky Department of Highways in the maintenance department.

Surviving are his wife Brenda Stephens Whitt of Sandy Hook, KY. Three children, Nacola Rae Whitt and Bridgett Keeton both of Sandy Hook, KY. Sarah Whitt Crose & Brandon Crose of Morehead, KY. Three grandchildren, Madison Richmond, Korbin Ray Tackett and Noah Crose. Two sisters, Lucille Turner and Walter Turner, and Linda Whitt both of West Liberty, KY. One brother Jerry Whitt of West Liberty, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernie Whitt and Shirley Whitt. One sister Gay Helton, and brother Sammy Whitt.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, July 13,2022 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Gary Ferguson officiating. Interment in Elliott County Memorial Gardens, Sandy Hook, KY. Visitation start at 12:Noon Wednesday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Johnny Stamper, Steve Turner, Phillip Helton, Keith Helton, Brandon Crose, Cory Moreland.
