Jerry Dale Wells, age 75, of Mt.Sterling, and formerly of Mize, KY passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness. Born February 10,1945 in West Liberty, KY, a son of the late Dillard and Aulcy Bryant Wells. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter Anita Nguyen, two sisters Alta Halsey and Elizabeth Halsey and two brothers Denzil Wells and Maxie Wells

Surviving is his wife, Jean Tolson Wells of Mt. Sterling, KY. Son-in-law, Lee Nguyen and granddaughter, Kelly Jolee Nguyen both of Lexington, KY. Sister, Juanita Adams of Georgetown, KY. Uncle, Orville Wells and brother-in-law, Carl & Judy Tolson all of Middletown, Ohio. Jerry was a member of the Gateway Church of God, Mt. Sterling, and worked at Hobart’s for many years.

Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Beshear, a private family graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY with Rev. Jesse Rogers officiating. Pallbearers are family. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY in care of Jerry Dale Wells arrangements.
