Jimmie (Williams) Burchett

Jimmie Williams Burchett, age 75, of Hwy 172, Crockett, KY passed away June 30, 2024 at her home after an illness. She was born February 25,1949 in Paintsville, KY to the late Ora Lee Williams and Dorothy Ferguson Williams. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving is three daughters, Tammy & Tim Gibson of Crockett, KY; Deanna Burchett of West Liberty, KY, and Stacey & Jimmy Stacy of West Liberty, KY. Three grandchildren; Sabrina & Casey Johnson, Jacob Stacy, and Sarah Gibson & Serena. One great-grandson, Damien Carter Johnson. Four sisters; Lois & Jerry Mays of West Liberty, KY; Anita Morris of Germantown, OH; Twana & Dwayne Smith of West Liberty, KY, and Leora Gevedon of West Liberty, KY. Host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sons, sister Kay Collier, two nephews, Jason Gevedon and Grant Clevenger. Three brothers-in-law, Cratis Collier, Jack Morris, and Wayne Gevedon.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm, Thursday, July 4,2024 at the Old Paint Primitive Baptist Church,15469 KY 172, West Liberty, KY with Elder Stuart Cook officiating. Interment in the James Ferguson Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation, 6:pm, Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY, and visitation at 11; AM, Thursday at the Old Paint Primitive Baptist Church.

Active pallbearers are Tim Gibson, Jimmy Stacy, Dwayne smith, Jeff Rucker, Anthony Mays, and Casey Johnson. Honorary pallbearers: Josh Smith, Tyler Morris, Steve Collier, and Kevin Mays.
