Jimmy Ray Brown

Jimmy Ray Brown, age 68, of Cannel City, Kentucky, passed away Friday, February 7,2020 in the West Liberty Nursing Home & Rehab Center after a brief illness. He was born August 26, 1951 in Cannel City, Kentucky to late Chalmer Henry Brown and Bernice Bailey Robinson. He was a retired farmer. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. Besides his parents, one sister, Charlene Stacy preceded him in death.

Surviving is two daughters, Joannie Brown & Jeff Reed of Sitka,Kentucky, and Joanna Hollon of Campton, Kentucky. Two sons, Jimmy Lee & Stella Tackett, and James Brown both of Cannel City, Kentucky. One sister, Anna Slusser & Kermit Robison of Brushy Fork, Kentucky, and one brother, Darrell Brown of Adele, Kentucky. Several grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Monday, February 10,2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. David Hinton officiating. Burial in the Bailey Family Cemetery, Adele, Kentucky. Visitation 6:00pm, Sunday, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, Kentucky. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
