Joyce (Lewis) Cantrell

Joyce Lewis Cantrell, age, 69, of West Liberty, KY passed away October 2, 2023 at her home after an extended illness. She was born August 25, 1954 in West Liberty, KY to Winston & Betty Lewis.

Joyce was a heart transplant recipient. She received her heart on October 8, 2018. She was a member of the Blaze Community Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Winston & Betty Lewis & her husband Dennie Cantrell. Her paternal grandparents, Dennie & Lillie Perry Lewis & her maternal grandparents, Wavelin & Ethel Blankenship Lewis.

Surviving are her son, Kevin & Stephanie Cantrell. Special grandson & her pride & joy, Dillon Cantrell. A special young lady whom was like her grandchild, Maggie Keeton. Her special friend, Sherry Keeton, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday October 6, 2023 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home in West Liberty, KY with Bro. Silas Hoskins, Bro. Vernon Lewis & Bro. Robbie Conn officiating. Interment will be held at the W.H. Lewis Cemetery in West Liberty, KY. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Thursday October 5, 2023 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
