Judy Kay (Whitt) Phipps

Judy Kay Whitt Phipps, age 67, of Cannel City, KY, departed this life Sunday, November 16, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family after an extended illness. She was born June 5, 1958, in West Liberty, KY, daughter of Milford and Marie Brown Whitt. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.

Surviving are her loving husband, Lynn Phipps; three daughters, Savannah & Andy Plank, Samantha Kidd, and Kayla Phipps and Terry Robbins. One son, David & Latisha Phipps. Five grandchildren: Gracie & Jase Phipps, Madilynn & Jacob Plank, and Watson Kidd. Her twin sister, Janice & Greg Litteral. Two brothers: Ricky Whitt and Richard & Lisa Whitt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milford & Marie Brown Whitt, and three sisters, Alma Bailey, Thelma Williams, and Barbara Lou Elliott. Seven brothers: Joe, Everett, Jimmy, Billy Ray, Cortis, Millard, and Frankie Whitt.

Private graveside services were held at the Phipps Family Cemetery, Hwy 191, Cannel City, KY, at 1:00pm on Monday, November 17, 2025. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
