Larry W. Barker

Larry W. Barker, age 68, of Bandy Branch Rd.,Sandy Hook, KY passed away on Friday, December 13, 2019 in the King’s Daughter Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky after a brief illness. He was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on February 11, 1951 to the late Ray W. Barker and Evelyn Ison Barker Hughes. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He was a retired diesel mechanic. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Stefony Stan Barker, two grandsons, Noah Barker and Tylor Ritchie, one sister, Cathy Adkins, and two great-grandchildren.

Surviving is three daughters, Charlotte & James Hedge of Olive Hill, KY. Annie & Ralph Ball of Crockett, KY. Rhonda & Jerry Keeton of West Liberty,KY, also three sons, Anthony Barker of Sandy Hook, KY. Larry Willie & Vonda Barker, and Gregory Lynn (Paula) Barker both of Waverly,Ohio. and his adopted son Larry Joe Barker of Sandy Hook,KY. Two brothers Roggie & Mary Barker of Ezel,KY, and Bill & Mary Barker of West Liberty,KY. One sister, Betty Wright of Campton,KY. Twenty-six grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 17th. 2019 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Harry Flannery and Aaron Barker officiating. Burial in the Day Cemetery, Elkfork, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Clifford Keeton, Matt Ball, Cody Barker, Samuel Barker, Larry Joe Barker, and Felix Stevens.
