Larry Scott Jordan Wheeler

Larry Scott Jordan Wheeler, affectionately known as Scott, was born on May 3, 1969, in Atlanta, GA. On December 8, 2024, at the age of 55, Scott passed away, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, inspiration, and love that will resonate forever in the hearts of those who knew him.

Scott was a beacon of light and joy, known for his vibrant presence that could illuminate any room he entered. With a rich voice, he loved to sing, often encouraging others to join him in finishing the song he so passionately started. His infectious humor and quick wit made him the loudest and funniest person in any gathering, spreading smiles through jokes and his spontaneous outbursts of song and movie quotes. Scott had an extraordinary ability to connect with people, deeply impacting everyone he met. His dreams extended beyond personal achievements; he was working on his Ph.D., aspiring to blend education with his passion for pastoral work to help guide teenagers through their life journeys.

He is survived by his loving family, including his sister-wives Lindsi Cook and Paula Jordan, and his children: Jacob Jordan (Chelsea), Miranda Jordan, Alyssia Garcia, and Bryanna Garcia. He was a cherished grandfather to Sterling Jordan, and a beloved son to Johnny Wheeler. Scott also leaves behind his dear siblings: sisters Rhonda Brooks and Donna Blanton, and brothers Ron Dixon, David Ogle, and JD Wheeler; his mother in-law Lena Litteral.

He was preceded in death by his mothers Lorraine Burr and Sylvia Wheeler; his sister Tammy Gray and his father in-law Jim Litteral. Family and friends will gather to honor a man whose spirit was as bright as the stars, forever shining in our memories and hearts. Scott Wheeler, a man whose life was a melody of joy and love, will be dearly missed but eternally celebrated. As he joins the heavenly choir, we hold onto the joy he brought into our lives, knowing the brightest star has found its place in the sky.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm,Saturday December 14,2024 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Interment in the South Fork Cemetery, Malone, KY. with military honors conducted at gravesite by the Morgan Co.DAV chapter #132. Visitation, 12:Noon,Saturday December 14,2024 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral home, West Liberty, KY.
