Lena (Vance) Evans

Lena Vance Evans, age 93, of Liberty Road, West Liberty, KY passed away Saturday, April 13,2024 at her home after an extended illness. Born January 02,1931 in Hazard, KY to Willie and Ada Ratliff Vance. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior.

Surviving is one daughter Sandy & Frankie Keeton, three grandchildren, David Wayne Evans, Heather & Cheyenne Hamilton, Ginna Evans. Three great grandchildren, Brooklynn Evans, Johnathon Evans, Nevaeh Evans. Host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie & Ada Ratliff Vance, husband Jim Evans, One son Greg Evans, three sisters, Nellie Jones, Lona Turner, Louise Jones, three brothers, Alonzo Vance, Randolph Vance, Henry Harrison Vance.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1:pm, April 16,2024 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey chapel with Bro. Karl Elam and Elder Jackie Smith officiating. Interment in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Hwy 191, West Liberty, KY. Visitation is 6:PM, Monday, in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
