Lena (Benton) Perkins

Lena Benton Perkins, age 83, of Plymouth, IN., passed away October 1,2022 at her residence after an brief illness. Born in Caney, KY on April 28,1939 to Curt Benton and Sada Franklin Benton. She was a member of the Inwood Methodist Church, Inwood, IN., and a retired factory worker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curt & Sada Franklin Benton, her husband Thomas Perkins, one grandson, Thomas Perkins, several sisters and two brothers.

Surviving are three sons, Tommy Perkins, Eddie Perkins, and Will Perkins. Two grandchildren, Ashley Perkins and Curtis Perkins. Two great-granddaughters Olivia McDaniel and Mollie Dennis. One sister, Eva Bailey.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 5th,2022 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Karl Elam officiating. Interment in Benton Cemetery, Caney, KY. Visitation start at 11:am Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are friends and relatives.
