Linda Carol (Turvey) Kendrick

Linda Carol Turvey Kendrick, age 78 of Camp Branch Road, Hazel Green, KY passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024 after a brief illness in the Morgan Co. ARH Hospital, West Liberty, KY. She was born August 18,1946 in Pikeville, KY daughter of Gifford Turvey and Francis Porter Turvey. She was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church, Hwy 205, Hazel Green, KY. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and a homemaker that enjoyed sharing her time with family and friends. She had worked for Lion Apparel for many years.

Surviving is her loving husband William “Bill” Kendrick, one daughter Malinda & Travis Cole, Salyersville, KY. Three sons, Drayton & Brenda Kendrick, West Liberty, KY, Larry & Nicole Kendrick, Hazel Green, KY, and Charles Ray Kendrick and husband Glenn of San Diego, CA. Five grandchildren, Sekala ‘Paige’ Kendrick, Elizabeth Binder, Emilee Kendrick, Candance Cole and Seth Kendrick. One great-grandson Abraham Binder. Special friend Charlotte Kendrick.

She was preceded in death by her parents Gifford Turvey and Francis Porter Turvey, Three brothers, John, Charles, and Dennis Turvey, two sisters Joyce Baldridge and Gloria Cole. One great-grandchild Charity Rose Binder.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Tuesday, December 10,2024 at the Crossroads Baptist Church, Hwy 205, Hazel Green, KY with Bro. Mark Risner and Bro. K.H. Risner officiating. Interment in the Kendrick Family Cemetery, Camp Branch Road, Hazel Green, KY. Visitation, 6:30pm, Monday December 9,2024 at the Crossroads Baptist Church, Hwy 205, Hazel Green, KY. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY in care of arrangements. Pallbearers: Drayton Kendrick, Timothy Keeton, Seth Kendrick Larry Kendrick, Mark Risner and Steve Knight.
