Linda Martin, age 80, of Yocum Road, West liberty, KY, passed away Tuesday, August 10,2021 at her home after an illness. She was born February 27,1941 in Sandy Hook, KY to Millard & Sarah Bowling Adkins. Linda was a member of the Neal Howard Creek Church, Sandy Hook, KY. A loving wife to her late husband Kenneth Martin, and enjoyed sharing her home with her family and friends.
Surviving are her daughters, Margaret Elam (Phillip), Dedra Dye (Donnie) of West Liberty, KY Six grandchildren: Stephanie Bargo (Joey), Suellen Hedger, Brandon Potter (Sarah), Kayla Adkins (Brandan), Alan Elam (Seanna), Blake DeHaven (Kaytlin). Fifteen great-grandchildren; Andrew, Caitlin, Bennett, Oliver, Kensley, Alaina, Jack, Gabriel, Ellison, Sarah, Penelope, Sawyer, Ryan, Ryker, Andy. Two sisters, Pauletta Lewis of Sandy Hook, KY, Shirley Miller (John) of Grayson, KY. Two brothers, Marvin Adkins (Linda) of West Liberty, KY, Eldon Adkins (Brenda) of Sandy Hook, KY. Host of nieces, nephews, family & friends. Her special companion, Emma Rose.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Millard & Sarah Bowling Adkins, her husband Kenneth Martin, grandson Joshua Dye, four sisters, Delphia Adkins, Myrtle Adkins, Elsie Lewis, Edith Adkins, and two brothers, Joe Adkins and Clayton Adkins.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Sunday, August 15,2021 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Sargent, Bro. Garry Ferguson and Bro. Dean Lewis officiating. Burial in Wells & Wilder & Adkins Cemetery, Rt 650, Wells Creek, KY. Visitation after 6:00pm, Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
