Louie V. Whitt

Louie V. Whitt, age 87, of West Liberty, Kentucky departed this life Friday,October 23,2020 at St. Claire Medical Center,Morehead,Kentucky after an extended illness. Born in Wrigley,Kentucky on March 13, 1933 to Sanford and Lorine Stanley Whitt. He was of the Christian Faith and was a retired millwright at the Ford Motors Co.

Surviving are his special caregivers James & Sandra Perkins of West Liberty,KY. One sister: Glenda Kuhn of Germantown,Ohio. Four brothers: Dean Whitt of Sidney,Ohio,Billy Whitt of Middletown,Ohio,Wendell Whitt of Carlisle,Ohio and Claude Whitt of Sandusky,Ohio. Host of nieces, nephews,great nieces and nephews and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sanford & Lorine Stanley Whitt, his wives, Pauline Perry Whitt and Lynn Wineguard Whitt. Four sisters: Dorothy Hodge, Lela Perry, Katie Rutherford, Fern Lewis and four brothers, Sanford Whitt Jr, Eugene Whitt, Bernard Whitt and a infant brother.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm,Monday,October 26,2020 at Howard & Lewis Cemetery, Pleasant Run Road, West Liberty, KY, with Bro.Donald Cox and Bro. J.R. Keeton officiating. Visitation will be 11:am,Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Roger Keeton, J.R. Keeton, John Flannery, Jamie Perkins, Claude Whitt, Nathaniel Whitt and Kevin Ross.

COVID-19 regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.
