Lynn Boyd Caskey

Lynn Boyd “L.B.” Caskey, age, 91, of Mt. Sterling, KY & formerly of Morgan County, KY Passed away Friday October 21, 2022 at the VAMC in Lexington, KY after an extended illness. He was born August 2, 1931 in Pomp, KY to George & Cossie Doolin Caskey.

He was U.S. Army Korean War Veteran and worked as a Ham Radio Operator. He was non denominational christian and attended many churches. LB. Was a retired City engineer in Tacoma Washington.

Preceded in death by his parents, George & Cossie Doolin Caskey, his first wife, Myrtle Caskey, one son, Gregory Sargent, sister, Jeanett Hurley, brother, E.K. Caskey

Surviving are his loving wife, Stella Davis Caskey, two daughters, Glenda & Frank Wells, Sharon & Eddie Parsons, son, Sheldon Dale Sargent, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, two sisters, Minnie Coleman & Mae Perry, a host of nieces & nephews, family & friends

Funeral services will be held at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday October 25, 2022 with Rev. Frank Curtis oficiating. Entombment will be held at the West Liberty Memorial Gardens, West Liberty, KY. Visitation begins at 11:30 AM Tuesday October 25, 2022 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel.

Military entombment service will be conducted by Morgan County DAV Chapter #132 at the West Liberty Memorial Gardens Tuesday October 25, 2022 , West liberty, KY.
