Mary C. (Cox) Engle

Mary C. Cox Engle, age, 81 of West Liberty, KY passed away Sunday June 25, 2023 at Kings Daughters Hospital, Ashland, KY after an extended illness. She was born December 23, 1941 in Mize, KY to the late Ray & Sylvia Stamper Cox.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ray & Sylvia Stamper Cox, one son Terry Allen Perkins, one brother, William (Bill) Cox.

Surviving are her husband, Edsel Engle, three sisters, Phoebe Centers, Sharon Hollon, Rosa Hall, one nephew, Sallee Cox, three nieces, Sarah Beth Hollon, Melissa Hall, Katherine Michelle Berry. one special friend, Gail Howard & other friends who loved her dearly.

She was a graduate of Ezel High School, having graduated in 1960. She was of the Christian faith and attended Index Community Church as long as her health permitted her to. She was loving and giving. She enjoyed hand work of all kinds, crocheting, quilting, and lots of other crafts. She was very good at all of them. Giving most of them she made to others.

Graveside Services will be held at the Ezel Cemetery, 460 Presbyterian Church Road, Ezel, KY at 1:00 PM  Wednesday June 28, 2023 with Bro. Mike Frisby officiating. Interment will be held at the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY.

Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
