Matthew B. Young

Matthew B. Young, age 35, of Ezel, KY, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023, in his home. He was born January 31, 1988, in Paintsville, KY, the son of Stanley & Darlene Mayabb Young. He was a factory worker.

Surviving are his parents, Stanley & Darlene (Mayabb) Young, his fiancee Marla Prince, two daughters, Miah Ann Vaughn and Amelia Hazel Young, one son, Wyatt Jamson Young, one brother, Justin & Melissa Young, one sister, Lindsay Young & fiance Jon Litteral. Two nieces, Jessica Kate Young, and Harper Leanne Young. maternal grandmother, Pauline Mayabb. Host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Denver Mayabb and paternal grandparents, H.G. & Jessie Young.

Visitation, 6:00 pm, Monday, in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel. Funeral services at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Elder Samuel Reed and Elder Danny Williams officiating. Interment, Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Pallbearers are Jon Ferrell, Jeremy Haney, Jimmy Lawson, Chris Young, Mike Young, and Derrick Sowards.
