Maxine Marie (Lewis) Rigsby

Maxine Marie Lewis Rigsby, age, 91, of Wellington, KY passed away November 25, 2022 at St. Claire Medical Center, Morehead, KY after a brief illness. She was born March 21, 1931 in Zag, KY to the late Clyde Livingston Lewis & Christine Callahan Lewis.

She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

Maxine Marie Rigsby was preceded in death by her Mother & Father Clyde Livingston Lewis and Christine Callahan Lewis, her Husband Willard Rigsby married on November 25, 1950. One son Larry Rigsby, One Grandson Edwin Easterling, One Daughter in-law Kathy Rigsby, One Great Grandson-in-Law Deputy Alexander Lee Spencer, Six Brothers Arlie Lewis, Chester Lewis, Darrell Lewis, Bernard Lewis, Clyde Jr. Lewis, & Richard Lewis. Five Sisters, Emma J. Engle, Mary F. Hale, Nannie Lewis, Goldie Rigsby and Leatha Rigsby.

She is survived by her four loving children AC Rigsby of Wellington KY, Ira Rigsby of Wellington KY, Leon Rigsby of Wellington KY, and Shirley & Evyn Earl Patrick of West Liberty KY. Two Brothers, Steve & Marvella Lewis of West Liberty KY, and Jimmy Lewis of West Liberty KY. Two Sisters Drema & Donald Cox of West Liberty KY, and Connie Hutchinson of Fairborn OH. Seven grandchildren, Fourteen great-grandchildren, Four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces & nephews. Five sisters-in-law Wilma Miller of Ohio, Helen Lewis of West Liberty KY, Betty Rigsby of West Liberty KY, Linda Rigsby of Fairborn Ohio & Phyllis Lewis of West Liberty,KY. She is also survived by numerous friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Tuesday November 29, 2022 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Timmy Sargent & Bro. Dean Lewis officiating. Interment in the Cottle Cemetery, Zag, KY. Visitation starts at 11:30 AM, Tuesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
