McKinley "Frog" Coffee

McKinley “Frog” Coffee, age, 67 of Morehead, KY passed away February 7, 2023 after an extended illness. He was born November 21, 1955 to the late Clayton & Melovee Coffee. He enjoyed the farm life and loved to sing and play his guitar in church. He was a member of the Wells Union Church in West Liberty, KY.

He was united in marriage to the late Myrtle Dean Coffee on November 10, 1973. Born to them was three children, Clifton Brian Coffee, Amanda Jane Smith & Candice Brooke Coffee.

Preceded in death by his parents Clayton & Melovee Coffee, 2 sisters, Mary Ann Tharp & Prisilla Rose Combs, 1 brother, David Noel Coffee. His Wife Myrtle Dean Coffee, his son, Clifton Brian Coffee & 1 grandson Austin Clay Coffee.

Surviving are his two brothers, Jay & Shannon Coffee of Morehead, KY,  and Scott "Shaker" Coffee, West Liberty, KY. Two sisters, Martha Conley of West Liberty, KY, & Sharon & Jimmie Tharp of West Liberty, KY. Two daughters, Amanda & Scott Smith, Candice Coffee. 5 grandchildren, Kaleb Cummins, Kirby Smith, Corie Smith, Olivia Prater, Samantha Prater, Two great grandsons, Clayton & Kaston Cummins.

Pallbearers: Active: Kirby Smith, Josh Coffee, Kaleb Cummins, Scott Smith, Charlie Conley, Chad Young and Honorary: Johnny Tate, Tyler Heck.

Funeral services will be held at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel at 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 9, 2023 with Bro. Jimmy Conley and Bro .Jeff Farmer officiating. Interment will be held at the West Liberty Memorial Gardens West Liberty, KY. Visitation starts 6:00 PM Wednesday February 8, 2023 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home West Liberty, KY
