Melonie Patrick

Melonie Patrick, age, 48, of West Liberty, KY passed away September 23, 2023 in Lexington, KY after a brief illness. She was born June 21, 1975 in West Liberty, KY to Jenetta Jenkins Helton.

Melonie gave her heart to Jesus in August. She was baptized by the hospital Chaplin at the UK Hospital September 20, 2023.

Preceded in death by her special grandmother, Vergie Jenkins, granddad, John Ed Jenkins, several aunts, uncles, cousins & 3 special cousins, who were her childhood buddies, Terry, Keith & J.R. Jenkins.

Surviving are her mother & step dad, Jenetta Jenkins Helton & Clyde Helton. 1 daughter, Abigail Fredley. 1 sister, Jackie & Tom Krieger, 1 brother, Chris & Krista Beth Helton, 2 nieces, Harlee Krieger, Lara Helton, 3 nephews, Dustin & Kurt Havens, Luke Helton. 4 great nieces, Hannah Rasche, Roslyn Dickerson, Kinley & Everlee Havens, 1 great nephew, Brantley Havens.

Funeral Services will be held at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday September 27, 2023  with Bro. Aaron Holbrook & speaker Jeremy Jenkins officiating. Interment will be held at the J.E. Jenkins Cemetery on Old 172 West Liberty, KY. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Tuesday September 26, 2023 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
