Nancy E (Byrd) Holbrook

Nancy E. (Byrd) Holbrook, age 96, Worthington, OH, and (formerly of Morgan County, KY), passed away Sunday, February 22, 2026, in the Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio. She was born December 10, 1929, at Index, KY, daughter of Clay and Lizzie (Elam) Byrd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clay and Lizzie Byrd; husband Randolph Holbrook; brothers Larry and Graham; and sisters Helen, Florence, Rita, Ruth, Marg, and Lavonna.

Surviving are daughters Nancy Susan Justice (Worthington, OH); Pat Dohme (Lynchburg, VA); son Barry Holbrook (Groveport, OH); daughter-in-law Joanne Holbrook (Groveport, OH); and grandchildren Brad, Charley, Pam, and Nikki. Also four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 1:00pm, February 27, 2026, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Karl Elam officiating. Interment in the Salyer Cemetery, West Liberty, KY. Visitation, 11:30 am Friday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be his family and friends.
