Naomi Evelyn (Benton) Eagle

Naomi Evelyn Benton Eagle, of Carlisle, KY and formerly of Caney, KY, departed this life Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in the Bourbon Heights Nursing Home, Paris, KY at the age of 88. She was born January 22, 1936 in Caney, KY daughter of Roy R. Benton and Frances Lewis Benton. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She had various jobs during her lifetime, but her joy was a homemaker. She loved the Lord and her family with all her might. Naomi married Steeley J. Eagle on February 22, 1958 in Jellico, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy R. and Frances Lewis Benton, her husband Steeley J. Eagle, grandson Shawn McCarty, her siblings Edwin Benton, Alene Taulbee and Geneva Barker.

Surviving is her four children Theresa McCarty, Jerry (Vicki) Eagle, Lewis (Angela) Eagle, all of West Liberty, KY and Frances (Chad) Davis of Carlisle, KY. Eleven grandchildren, April McCarty, Aaron (Darra) McCarty, Dayla (Jamie) Keeton, Craig McCarty, Haley (Jeremy) Ross, Leslie (Austin) Cecil, Lacy (Jake) Burghardt, Alex (Gianna) Eagle, Jarod Eagle, Gracie Davis and Maggie Davis. Eleven great-grandchildren, Carson McCarty, Jayden McCarty, Damian Keeton, Kaitlyn Whitt, Elissa Benton, MaKenzie Ross, Bristol Ross, Riley Burghardt, Ryan Burghardt, Easton Cecil, and Corbin Cecil.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm, Thursday, October 17, 2024 in the Benton Cemetery, Caney, KY. Herald & Stewart & Halsey & Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be Family.
