Odie M Ferguson

Odie Ferguson, age 82, of Mt. Sterling, KY, departed this life on Sunday, December 21, 2025, in St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington, KY, after an extended illness. He was born October 29, 1943, in Grassy Creek (Morgan Co.), KY, son of Samuel Willard Ferguson and Rosa (Ferguson) Ferguson.  Odie was a member of the House of Deliverance, Mt. Sterling, KY, and a retired farmer.

Surviving is his loving wife, Kathleen Richardson Ferguson. Two daughters, Shelia and Marvin Ward, Melanie & Scott Weber, and son Steven & Debbie Ferguson. Daughter-in-law Rhonda Miller. Siblings Sammy Ferguson and Angie Peyton. Eight grandchildren, Kelly and Kaitlin. Lucas, Sara, Doug, Ashleigh, Autumn, and Dean. Two great-grandchildren, Presley and Brynnlee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Miles Dwayne Ferguson, and two brothers, Donnie and Hershell Ferguson.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Vaughn Haney officiating. Interment in the Lovelace Cemetery, Bonny, KY. Visitation is at 11:00am on Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers are Lucas Ward, Marshall Wilhoite, Doug Ferguson, Dean Ferguson, Scott Weber, and Chance Fletcher. The honorary pallbearer is Clarissa Arvin.
