Ottis Rickey Cooper, of Bays Bend Rd., West Liberty, KY, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024 in the ARH Hospital, West Liberty, KY at the age of 62. He was born February 26,1962 in Maysville, KY son of Millard Cooper and Linda Conley Cooper. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior and was a retired correctional captain at EKCC, West Liberty, KY. He was a loving husband, father and brother. He was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He would greatly appreciate everyone thinking of him. He was preceded in death by his father Millard Cooper.
Surviving is his loving family his wife Tammy Kemplin Cooper, he passed away 13 days shy of their 38th.wedding anniversary. his daughter Kami Cooper Gibson (Nick) of West Liberty, KY. One dog daughter Chloe, and one dog granddaughter Emmy. He was the best husband, dad, and papaw, he loved all of his relatives and friends. His mother Linda Conley Cooper of Hillsboro, KY. One sister, Debra Cooper of Hillsboro, KY.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Harry Frisby officiating. Interment in the Kemplin Cemetery, Woodsbend, KY. Visitation, 6:30 pm, Tuesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West liberty, KY.
Pallbearers; Nick Gibson, Justin Williams, Dustin Kemplin, Hunter Kemplin, Tyrell Jones, Josh Montgomery, Shawn Conley and Eric Cole.
