Ottis Jean Murphy Lane, age 74 of Wellington, KY passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at her home after an extended illness. Born January 27,1949 in Frenchburg, KY to Ottis Murphy and Dorothy Ratliff Murphy. She was a member of the Pine Grove Community Church, Ezel,KY. A retired teacher and horse show judge.

Preceded in death by her parents, Ottis Murphy & Dorothy Ratliff Murphy. Her husband, David Paul Lane, one son Paul Lane.

Surviving are her one son Kenneth Bryant Lane, one grandson, Grayson Bryant Lane. Funeral services 1:00pm, Thursday, May 18,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Jamie Brunk officiating. Interment in Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY. Visitation 6:30pm, Wednesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral home, West Liberty, KY.
