Pauletta Adkins Lewis, 76, of Sandy Hook, KY, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, at her home after an extended illness. Born on November 4, 1946, in Sandy Hook, KY, the daughter of Millard & Sarah Bowling Adkins. Member of the Neal Howard Creek Church, Sandy Hook, KY. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
Surviving are one daughter, Angie Lewis Keaton (Bryan), and one son, Roger Lewis. Five grandchildren, Chase Wagers, Luke Wagers, Sarah Wagers, Alana Lewis, and Logan Lewis, and one sister, Shirley Miller (John, and two brothers, Marvin Adkins (Linda) and Eldon Adkins (Brenda). Host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, Millard & Sarah Bowling Adkins, and her husband, Charles E. Lewis, and five sisters, Delphia Adkins, Myrtle Adkins, Elsie Lewis, Edith Adkins, Linda Martin, and two brothers, Joe Adkins and Clayton Adkins.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2023, in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Jonathan Sargent officiating. Interment in Wells & Wilder & Adkins Cemetery, Rt.650, Wells Creek, KY. Visitation, 6:00 p.m. Sunday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
