Phyllis (Henry) Lewis

Phyllis Henry Lewis, age 86 of West Liberty, KY passed away Thursday, May 11,2023 in Morgan County ARH, after a brief illness. Born January 27,1937 in Index, KY to William Taylor Henry and Nancy Hazel Easterling Henry. She attended the Index Community Church, West Liberty, KY. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Surviving are one daughter Terry Y. Lewis Conley and Billy Conley, one son, Gregory Lewis and Penny Lewis. Two sisters, Laquada Elam and Madeline Fisher. Three granddaughters; Laura Newsome and Matt, Alycia Lewis and J.J. Holden, Janesey Lewis. Many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Taylor Henry and Nancy Hazel Easterling Henry, three sisters, Norma Jean Williams, Christine Blackburn, Dearl Dykes. Four brothers, James Richard Henry, Talmadge “Sonny” Henry, Denzil Henry, Tommy Henry. Three nephews, Donald Elam, Eddie Henry, Jeffrey Henry.

Funeral services 1:00pm, Monday May 15,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Karl Elam and Damon Henry reading the obituary. Entombment in West Liberty Memorial Gardens, West Liberty, KY. Visitation, 11:am, Monday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
