Polly Kathleen (Montgomery) Howard

Polly Kathleen Montgomery Howard, age 91, was born January 11,1931 in West Liberty, KY and passed away Tuesday, December 13,2022 at her home after an extended illness. She was a long time resident of West Liberty, (Morgan County), KY. She was also a member of the Antioch Old Regular Baptist Church of Wayne, West Virginia. She was loved and respected by all that knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Mason (Mace) & Lula Ethel Daniel Montgomery, her husband, Elder Billie Howard of the Antioch Old Regular Baptist church. Daughter Jewel Howard one brother Mason JR Montgomery, and grandson Jerry Howard Jr.

Surviving are three sons William Jaye & Ivy Howard of the Philippines, Jerry Ray & Geraldine Howard of West Liberty, KY, and John Ballard & Madge Howard of West Liberty, KY. Two daughters, Shirley Louise & Dale Stephens of Crossville, Tennessee, Lula Mae & Paul Maberry of West Liberty, KY. 23 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren & 8 great great grandchildren. Three sisters, Molly Mae Francis of Blue Creek, Ohio, Phyllis Ann Beasley of Marion, Ohio, Sara Cathren Cantrell of West Liberty, KY. Three brothers, Sanders Melvin & Carol Montgomery, William E. & Joann Montgomery, Jimmy Clyde & Sally Montgomery. Host of friends and neighbors that will miss Polly every day.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday, December 16,2022 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Elder Art Mathis, Elder Leonard Napier and Elder Sam Frye officiating. Interment in Montgomery Cemetery, Peddler Gap Rd.,West Liberty, KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
