Ricky Allen Adkins, age 50, of West Liberty, KY, passed away Sunday, June 10th, 2018 in Sandy Hook, KY. Born July 9th, 1967 in Sandy Hook, KY. Ricky was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Serilda Adkins, maternal grandfather, Charlie Whitt, and stepfather, Howard Lee Whitt. Ricky was a loving son, brother, father, and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with family and would always say " hug my neck before you leave." He was of the Christian faith and loved his God and church family. Basketball was his favorite sport.

Surviving is his father, Donald Adkins of Sandy Hook, KY; mother, Janet Whitt of West Liberty, KY; maternal grandmother, Pansy Dennis of Sandy Hook, KY; two sisters, Pam (Jamie) Crose of Morehead, KY; Lee Ann (Steve) Veteto of Toledo, OH; two brothers, Jimmy Whitt of West Liberty, KY, and Brad (Nellie) Crouch of Morehead, KY. one daughter, Tara Shea Conley of Morehead, KY; one son, Marshall Adkins of Flatwoods, KY; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 2:30pm, Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev.Gary Ferguson and Rev.Gary Madden officiating. Burial in Adkins & Whitt Cemetery, Wrigley, KY.

Visitation after 6:00pm, Tuesday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are, Jimmy Whitt, Jamie Crose, Steve Veteto, Shane Veteto, Cody Adkins, and Robby Lewis.
