Robert T. Cox

Robert T. Cox, age 76, of Mt. Sterling, KY and formerly of Ezel, KY passed away Monday, May 15, 2023 at his home after an extended illness. Born February 24,1947 in Paintsville, KY to Ora Cox and Rissie Rigsby Cox. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior. He was a retired farmer. He was a loving father, grandfather and brother.

Surviving are two daughter, Susan Fugett, Gerry Downey and one son, Robbie Cox all of Mt. Sterling, KY. Four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One sister, Gladys Cox of  Sarasota, Florida. Two brothers, Roy Cox of  Ezel, KY and Frank Cox of Piketon, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ora and Rissie (Rigsby) Cox, one grandson Chris Fugett, two brothers, Ross Cox and Martin Cox. One sister Sarah Seagraves.

Funeral services 1:00pm, Friday, May 19,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Ronnie Gibson. Interment in Paint Valley Memorial Gardens, Crockett, KY. Visitation 11:am, Friday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
