Rosemary Johnson

Rosemary Johnson, age 74 of 481 Highway 437, West Liberty, KY passed away Tuesday July 30th 2024 at Saint Mary's Medical center in Huntington, West Virginia after a brief illness. She was born September 6th, 1949 in West Liberty, KY daughter of the late James Nelson Gilliam and Hazel Ison Gilliam.

Surviving are five children, Keith Johnson, Kimberly & Mark Phipps, Sonya & Patrick Wright, Shawn & Jennifer Johnson, Heather & Scotty Ferguson, Seven grandchildren, Whitney Wright, Madison Wright, Nathan Cantrell, Brycen Ferguson, Hunter Craft, Lora Johnson, Emily Johnson, one great granddaughter, Kenzley Cantrell. Three sisters Geneva Gamble, Elizabeth Gillum, Alberta Cantrell, six brothers, Edward & Florence Gilliam, Elmer Gene & Caroll Gilliam, Paul & Beverly Gilliam, Danny & Lora Gilliam, Donnie & Patty Gilliam, Rufus & Connie Gilliam. Special friend Beecher Burton.

She was proceeded in death by her parents James Nelson Gilliam & Hazel Ison Gilliam, Husband William Clinton Johnson, two brothers Wendell Lee Gilliam & James Parish Gilliam.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday, August 2nd, 2024 at Hearld & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Elder Norman Wright and Elder Joe Ferguson. Interment in Ison Cemetery, Crockett, KY. Visitation 6:30pm, Thursday at Hearld & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers are Patrick Wright, Mark Phipps, Scotty Ferguson, Nathan Cantrell, Maxton Lippert, Alonzo Keeton.
