Roy Adkins

Roy Adkins, age 74, of Hillsboro, Ky passed away Monday, December 18,2023 at the Life Care Center, Morehead, KY after a brief illness. He was born June 15,1949 in Magoffin Co, KY to Ben and Ethel Montgomery Adkins. Preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Ethel Montgomery Adkins, five brothers and eight sisters.

Surviving is his son, Benny Adkins  and his daughter- in -law, Ashley Wheeler, two daughters, Valerie Maxine Back, Brondell Adkins. Survivors also include twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren. Three brothers, Hager Adkins, Russell Adkins and Hervert Adkins.

Funeral services will be held 1:00pm,Thursday December 21,2023 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Roy Collett officiating. Interment in the Prater Cemetery, Magoffin Co, KY. Visitation, 11:00am,Thursday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers will be friends and family.
