Ruby Mae Cantrell

Ruby Mae Cantrell, age 90, of Hwy 589, West Liberty, KY, passed away Friday, March 27,2020 at her residence after a brief illness. Born May 24,1929 in West Liberty, KY, she was a daughter of the late Henry and Rosetta Wright Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Paris Cantrell in March 2012, and three grandchildren: Jensen Sawer Howard, Preston Scott Roseberry and baby Cantrell, also four sisters; Ellen Trimble, Maxie Fannin, Rachael Williams, Thelma Lewis and one brother Johnny Smith.

Surviving are four daughters; Linda & Jackie Smith, Geneva Stakelin, Bernet & David Roseberry, Loretta Cantrell. Five sons, Corby & Cheri Cantrell, Dale & Darlene Cantrell, Cassie & Faye Cantrell, P. J. & Debbie Cantrell, and Scottie Cantrell. One brother Leonard & Pat Smith all of West Liberty, KY. 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Martha Enterprise Baptist Church, West Liberty, KY.

Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Beshear, a private family viewing will be held Monday, March 30, 2020, at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY with private burial immediately following at Gusta Smith Cemetery, Hwy 589,West Liberty, KY with Bro. Roger Ball and Bro. Roger Dean Ball officiating. Pallbearers are family. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY in care of Ruby Mae Cantrell arrangements.
