Scotty Allen Cantrell

Scotty Allen Cantrell, age 54, of Hill Top Road, West Liberty, passed away on Thursday, March 26,2020 at his residence after an extended illness. Born February 24,1966 in West Liberty,KY, to the late B. H.and Lexie Myrtle Young Cantrell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters; Brenda Cantrell, Shanda Cantrell, Maxie Phillips, Kathy Fuller, Nevil Wamsley and one brother Dan Cantrell.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer Taylor Cantrell, three daughters; Kayla Cantrell (Olivia), Ashley Flannery (Dakota) all of West Liberty,KY. Brittany Cantrell of Olive Hill,KY. Son Tyler Allen Cantrell of West Liberty,KY. Two granddaughters, Kyleigh Wright and Giselle Bush, three grandsons, Kayden Cantrell, Jagger Gilliam, Wyatt Cantrell. Two sisters: Shirley Dershem of Covington,Ohio and Bonnie Lorraine of Sidney,Ohio. Six brothers; Joe & Christine Cantrell, Denzil & Alma Cantrell, Roy & Mary Cantrell, Buel & Carolyn Sue Cantrell all of West Liberty,KY. Jeff & Tosha Cantrell of Sandy Hook, KY. Jimmie Cantrell of West Liberty,KY. Special niece and caregiver Keisha Cantrell. Two house dogs, Penny and Dunkey. Special thanks to Oncology Department of St. Claire, Brittany Blair and nurse Troy.

Scotty, attended the Williams Creek-Elkfork Community Church and accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was the owner of a lawn care business.

Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Beshear, a private family service will be held Saturday, March 28,2020 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY with private family burial immediately following at Scotty Cantrell Cemetery, West Liberty, KY with Bro. Chuck Conley and Josh Sloas officiating.
