Seann Dewey Brown, 44, of Ashland, Kentucky, a devoted follower of Christ, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was never married but will be deeply missed by his children. Caydei Hasley Brown and Zayne Brown of Kentucky and Skylar Brown of Texas, his parents Ned J. Brown of Kentucky and Brenda Brown Lyons and stepfather Mark Lyons of Arizona, his brothers Ned J. Brown Jr. and Evan P. Brown, his nephews and nieces Jacob Brown, Blake Brown, Llewyn Brown, Journi Brown, and Leni Brown, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He will be reunited in Heaven with his stepmother Miriam David and his grandparents. Dewey E. Brown and Helen G. Brown of Kentucky, Charles H. Woodworth Jr. and Donna G. Woodworth of New York. Seann was born in Mesa, Arizona, on December 28th, 1981. He lived most of his adult life in Georgetown, Kentucky, and later Ashland, Kentucky. He graduated in 2024 from Ashland Community and Technical College. Most of his life was spent working in the construction trade. He was meticulous and precise, which earned him a reputation as a problem solver who could fix anything.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, 1:00pm, February 28th at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Pastor Rick Sturgill officiating. Interment in the Brown Cemetery, Relief, KY. Visitation, 11:30 am Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
Pallbearers are his friends and relatives. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Real Life Ministries, 1717 Reynolds St., Ironton, Ohio 45638. “Blessed are those that mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
