Sherry (Taylor) Hill

Sherry Taylor Hill, age 66, of Hwy 706, West Liberty, KY passed away Tuesday, May 21,2024 in the King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, KY after a brief illness. Born September 1, 1957, in Paintsville, KY, daughter of Ernest ‘Buster” Taylor and Joyce Arms Taylor. She was a member of the Cains Creek Enterprise Baptist Church, Blaine, KY. She worked as a Nurses Aid for Highland Regional Hospital, Prestonsburg, KY.

Surviving is her husband, Stanley Hill, two daughters, Monica & Jonathan Perry, Mechell & Joseph Castle. One son Stanley & Kimberly Hill. Nine grandchildren, Garrett & Madison McCarty, Jacob Perry, Shelby & Jiragan Tangsri, Nathanael McCarty, Alexander Hill, Lacy Perry, JorJa Hill, Dylan Castle, Mahayla Castle. One great granddaughter Ployphailin Tangsri. Six siblings, Brenda & Clarence Ratliff, Van & Charlene Taylor, Christopher & Nadine Taylor, Gwen & Ron Spradlin, Elizabeth & Bo Arms, her twin brother Jerry & Tammy Taylor. Host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest “Buster” Taylor and Joyce Arms Taylor. Mother-in law, Lizzie Cantrell Hill and father-in-law Lundie Hill,2 brothers Gregory Taylor and Ernest Taylor, two infant grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Friday May 24,2024 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Rodney King and Bro. Josh Ramey officiating. Interment in the Paint Valley Memorial Gardens, Crockett, KY. The visitation will be at 6:30pm, Thursday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
