Thomas E. Hampton Sr, age 74 of Morehead, KY and formerly of Ezel, KY departed this life Monday, April 14, 2025 at the Elliott Nursing & Rehab Center, Sandy Hook, KY. He was born October 26,1950,in Ezel, KY, son of Everett Hampton and Irene Mayabb Hampton. He was a truck driver, hauling coal and timber. He attended the Pekin Pentecostal Church, Ezel, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Irene Mayabb Hampton, son Thomas R. Hampton Jr, brother Lonnie Hampton and sister Connie Fyffe.

Surviving is his wife Sherri Hagan Hampton of Morehead, KY. Two daughters Michelle Pierce of Griffin, Georgia, Melinda & Jeff Melkulcok of Mt. Sterling, KY. Five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Two sisters Patricia Carmony and Joan Linsey of Carlisle, KY. Two brothers Warren & Jean Hampton of Nicholasville, KY and John Hampton of Lexington, KY. Private services.
