Virgil C. Cole, age, 78, of Ezel, KY passed away Monday November 14, 2022 at the residence of his daughter after an extended illness. He was born November 8, 1944 in Ezel, KY to Clarence & Lavicia Lawson Cole.
He was a retired Correctional Officer & was a jack of all trades. He was a United States Army Veteran.
Preceded in death by his parents, Clarence & Lavicia Lawson Cole, in laws, Ishmael & Katy Denniston, his wife, Dianne Denniston Cole, two sisters, Margie Preston, Nell Murphy, two brothers, Wendell Cole, Orville Cole
Surviving are Phyllis Lawson, his two daughters, Beth McNabb (Arlen), Amy Leach (David), five grandchildren, Megan (Ben) Everman, Logan McNabb, Ryan (Carlea) Leach, Morgan McNabb, Nolan McNabb, great granddaughter, Pasilee McNabb. Two brothers, Cecil (Valerie) Cole, Ronnie (Honna) Cole, four sisters, Evelyn Crouch, Cora McKinney, Ann (Henry) Barker, Connie Havens.

Funeral Services will be held at the Ezel United Presbyterian Chruch,14476 US-460, Ezel, KY at 1:00 PM, Friday, November 18, 2022 with Bonnie Harris and Sean Bailey officiating. Interment will be held at the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, KY with Military Honors conducted by Morgan County DAV Chapter # 132. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Thursday November 17, 2022 at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel, West Liberty, KY.
