Virgil Kenneth “Bug” Ferguson, age, 91 of Ezel, KY passed away Saturday December 9, 2023, at the Clark Regional Hospital, Winchester, KY after a brief illness. He was born June 27, 1932, in West liberty, KY to Odie Cecil Ferguson & Minnie Price Ferguson.

Preceded in death by his parents, Odie Cecil Ferguson & Minnie Price Ferguson. His wife of 71 years, Lorene Faye Nipper Ferguson, daughter, Linda Carol Ferguson, 2 sisters, Inez Bear & Rosa Crowe. 5 brothers, Tex, Willie, Charlie, Roland & Herbert Ferguson. 2 grandsons, Christopher Manning & Jeffery Manning. 1 great grandson, Lincoln Caudill.

Surviving are his 6 daughters, Charlotte Bates (Buddy Adkins), Gail Ferguson, Cathy Caudill, Sandra Ferguson, Janet Keeton, Stephanie (Marty) Adkins. 1 son, Virgil Brian (Carol Sue) Ferguson. 54 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, family & friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday December 12, 2023, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY with Bro. Ronnie Gibson & Bro. Rick Simpkins officiating. Interment will be held at the Ferguson Cemetery in Ezel, KY. Visitation starts at 6:00 PM Monday December 11, 2023, at the Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
