Virginia (Oldfield) Oakley

Virginia Oldfield Oakley, age 94 of Hwy 203, Hazel Green, KY departed this life Saturday, August 2,2025 in St. Claire Hospital, Morehead, Kentucky after a brief illness. She was born May 8,1931, Hazel Green, KY daughter of the late Luther and Nora Blankenship Oldfield. She had worked for Inland Containers, Middletown, Oh. She was a member of the Constelation Church,  Mize, KY.

Surviving is her loving husband Harold Oakley and host of nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters Wilma Patrick, Josephine Cole and Betty Jean Nickell. Five brothers Vernon, Austin, Lester, Ralph and Delwer Oldfield.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday August 6,2025 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Stanley Burnett officiating. Burial in Oldfield Cemetery, Hwy 203,Hazel Green, KY. Visitation, 11:30am Wednesday August 6,2025 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers are nephews.
