Virigina Lee (Shelton) Thorpe

Virginia Lee Shelton Thorpe, age 55 of St. Helens, KY passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 in the Kentucky River Medical Center, Jackson, KY. She was born December 14, 1969 in Dearborn, Michigan daughter of Virgil and Frances Lukie Shelton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and sister.

Surviving is her children, Shera Shelton & husband Bruce Whisman, Sean Shelton, Sadie Mae Margaret Thorpe, Jesse Luke Thorpe. Five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Sister, Kathy Smith, brothers Terry & Mary Shelton, Robert & Laronda Shelton. Host of half brothers and sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil Shelton and Frances Lukie Shelton, her husband Luke Thorpe, son-in-law Floyd Childers, brother David Shelton, several half brothers and sisters.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm Saturday, March 15,2025 at the St. Helens Cemetery, State Hwy 2016,Beattyville, KY with Bro. Jeff Hobbs officiating. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral home, West Liberty, KY.

Pallbearers are Terry Shelton, Robert Shelton, Curtis Childers, Brady White, Jesse Thorpe, James Dobson and Brian Shelton.
