Wendell E. Lewis Sr, age 84 of Isonville,KY, passed away Friday,January 29, 2021 in the Cabell-Huntington Hospital, Huntington,WV., after an brief illness. Born November 25, 1936 in Isonville,KY to the late Erma Burl Lewis and Sally Alice Peters Lewis. He attended the Fannin Chapel Church, Isonville. He was a retired industrial painter.
Surviving is his children, Geraldine Lewis, Kimberly Lewis (Mark), Wendell E. Lewis II (Donna) all of Sandy Hook, KY. 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Joyce Tackett (Harold) of Morehead,KY. Lois Skaggs (Vonlie) of Martha,KY.Reva Lester (Joe) of Isonville,KY. Three brothers, Jack Lewis (Carol), Homer Lewis (Edna) and Dennis Lewis all of Isonville,KY. Special friend, Geraldine Miller of Sandy Hook, KY
He was preceded in death by his parents, Erma Burl Lewis and Sally Alice Peters Lewis. Two grandchildren, Tristan Lewis and Justin Conn. Brother Carl Lewis.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Monday, February 1,2021 at Fannin Chapel Church, Isonville, KY with Elder Eulas Adams, Elder Phillip Caudill, Elder Denzil Jenkins officiating. Burial to follow in the Lewis Family Cemetery, Isonville,KY. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Sunday at the Fannin Chapel Church, Isonville,KY. Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY
