Wendell Perry Stacy, age 91, of Hwy 844, Cannel City, KY passed away Thursday, May 27,2021 in Morgan Co. ARH after an extended illness. He was born August 8, 1929 in West Liberty, KY to William Henderson Stacy and Sarah Francis Adams Stacy. He was a retired sawmill worker and member of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. A veteran of the US Army (1951-1953).
Surviving are one daughter, Shanda & Manuel Phipps, Four grandchildren Wade Phipps (Kelly), Dustin Pennington, Shaneiceta Rupe (Michael), Tyshia Stacy Little (Tracey) Seven great grandchildren, Haley Phipps, Abaigail Phipps, Emily Phipps, Ricky Rupe, Corey Rupe, Steven Little, Shawn Townsend, One great great grandchild, Karson Little, One brother, Terry Stacy.
Preceded in death by his parents William Henderson Stacy & Sarah Francis Adams Stacy, his wife Earlene Stacy, one sister Mary Elizabeth Frisby, Six Brothers, Homer Luican, Delmer Winston, Rudolph & Paul Dean, Two Daughters, Vera Lane Mays & Sherilyn Stacy, One Grandson Zachary Rupe.
Funeral services will be 2:30pm, Saturday, May 29,2021 at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Rev. Mike Frisby officiating. Interment in the Bentley Cemetery, Stacy Fork, KY. Visitation will be 12:Noon, Saturday at Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY.
