William R Ison

William R. Ison, age 80 of Morehead ,KY and formerly of West Liberty, KY passed away Sunday December 12,2021 in the Life Care Center, Morehead, KY after an illness. He was born May 24,1941 in West Liberty, KY to Frank and Annie Ethel Burks Ison. He was a member of the Wells Union Church, West Liberty, KY.

Surviving are a host of nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Annie Ethel Burks Ison, two sisters Viola Stevens and Martha Jo Hall, five brothers Ralph Ison, Arlis Ison, Hershell Ison, Frank Junior Ison and Ray Ison.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm, Wednesday December 15,2021 in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Chapel with Bro. Jimmie Tharp and Danny Terry officiating. Burial in the Salyer Cemetery, West Liberty, KY. Visitation will be 11:am Wednesday in Herald & Stewart & Halsey Funeral Home, West Liberty, KY. Pallbearers: Shannon Stevens, Scotty Stevens, Jimmy Darrell Easterling, Derrick Havens, Carter Easterling and Jeff Stacy.
